Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37

So, this thing happened? Well we didn't meet yesterday due to the weather. So here's a thought for next Sunday's message.
What are the needs of the world around us? What do today's children and youth need? How many families are struggling and wandering as they seek answers for life? Exactly what did Jesus mean by what he said (Matt. 9:37)? Now the BIG ONE. What are we doing about it?

SEE YA IN CHURCH!

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37

Easter carries many diverse lessons for us all. The Covenant God put in place for humanity was the solid promise of love. The promise was signed officially as God came into this world to live side by side with all humanity. And that signature was sealed by the death Christ suffered for each and every one of us. And, get this, the promise was delivered when Christ rose from the dead giving each and every one of us the grace filled forgiveness required for our salvation.
Even when the time was not right, Jesus Christ acted, regardless; so why can't you and I act, even when someone's behavior has been bad? Rather than wait for a better time, when they have changed their behavior and straightened out their life, why not accept them today and let God turn their water into wine and also change their life? Christ found a door, or perhaps just a window, and He acted!
Another example of timing was when some Greeks approached Phillip and they wanted to speak with Jesus. "Phillip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus. Jesus replied, 'Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.'" (Jn. 12:22-23) Here began the opening of the Gospel message to the Gentile world, in a big way, as Jesus shared with his disciples the fact that he would soon be put to death. Like water turned to wine, his life would soon be the ultimate sacrifice for all of humanity, at the hands of both the Jews and the Gentiles. The time had come! A door, or a window was open.
