A special mission that Good Shepherd supports is our 'Pennies for Potatoes' collection. On the months with a fifth Sunday, a coin collection is offered to support the Society of St. Andrew Potato program. Proceeds from our collection are used to purchase truckloads of unmarketable potatoes and other produce, donated by the agricultural community, which are delivered to agencies serving the poor .
